Welcome to the One Mindful Act blog, an account of my one mindful act a day for the next 365 days. As the founder of One Mindful Act, I want to fully dedicate myself to this project by making a small change in my daily life in order to feed a person struggling with hunger. It costs just 25 cents to fill a cup of food and I feel confident that I can find at least a quarter a day to help someone in need. With a minimum of 25 cents a day I will use the One Mindful Act iPhone app to keep track of my mindful acts. When I cross the minimum donation threshold ($5.00) it will allow me to connect to the One Mindful Act donate page so that I can donate to the organization of my choice. Currently Stop Hunger Now is our featured organization.

The photos are a creative expression of this daily experience, some maybe more obvious than others. I want to combine my passion to help others with my desire to be creative each day. It has been 20 years since I have picked up a camera so this process will truly push me to open those avenues of exploration. I hope to inspire myself and others through the powerful process of giving.
